The University of Dili (UNDIL) concluded, on March 7, the Academic Orientation Week for new students who completed their enrollment in the university’s six faculties.
At the closing ceremony, in addition to the Magnificent Rector, Professor Doctor José Agostinho da Costa Belo Pereira, and approximately 500 new students, the President of the Boakril Foundation, Vice-Rectors, the Student Ombudsman, and the President of the Student Senate were also present.
During the orientation week, Deans, Vice-Deans, Heads of Departments, and Lecturers from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics, and Faculty of Political Sciences, together with the new students, carried out various orientation activities under the general theme “Education is the Key to the Development of Intellectual Capacity and the Creation of New Ideas.”
