Vision

To be a nationally and internationally recognized university, distinguished by the quality of its teaching and excellence in research, serving Timorese society and humanity.

Mission

  • To educate graduates with broad competencies in the fields of science and technology, social sciences, arts and humanities;

  • To ensure integrated curricular projects and the development of activities that promote the integration of students into the labor market and society;

  • To transmit fundamental values and principles through critical analysis and the dissemination of culture, contributing to the social and economic development of Timor-Leste, valuing social justice and democratic citizenship;

  • To promote the mobility of students, graduates, and academic staff at national and international levels, particularly within the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), ASEAN, and the Far East.
