UNDIL Pro-Rector Visits Universidade Aberta (Portugal)
Leaders of the University of Dili and Universidade Aberta (Portugal) met in Lisbon to discuss technical and scientific cooperation with Timor-Leste.
The Pro-Rector for Research, Postgraduate Studies and Cooperation with the CPLP, Professor Doctor M. Azancot de Menezes, was received in Lisbon by the Vice-Rector for Innovation, Quality and Digital Transformation, Professor Doctor Diogo González Casa Nova.
According to Professor Doctor Azancot de Menezes, the discussion was very productive and comprehensive, addressing several areas, namely continuous teacher training, Distance Education (EaD) in the Portuguese language, scientific research, and postgraduate education (Specialization, Master’s and Doctoral programs).
The meeting took place on the morning of August 19, 2025, at the Rectory of Universidade Aberta, in Lisbon.
