The Rector of the University of Luanda (UniLuanda), Professor Doctor Alfredo Buza, received the Vice-Rector for Research, Postgraduate Studies and Cooperation with the CPLP and Dean of the Faculty of Education of UNDIL, Professor Doctor Manuel Azancot de Menezes.
The meeting took place on 29 January 2026 and was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Bukusu Ndongala Hachim, and the Director of the Research Centre, Sebastião dos Santos.
Among other matters, several topics related to the development of the ongoing research project involving researchers from both universities were discussed, as well as a general exchange of views on the 16th FORGES Conference, which will be held in Angola in 2026.
It should be noted that the University of Luanda, one of the two public universities in Angola’s capital, and the University of Dili signed a cooperation agreement in November 2023, with the aim of establishing synergies between Angola and Timor-Leste in the context of academic and cultural cooperation in the fields of teaching and scientific research.
