The library in the Multipurpose Room of the Department of Portuguese Language and Cultures of the CPLP at the Faculty of Education of the University of Dili has been enriched with the donation of 9 (nine) Angolan scientific works in the field of linguistics and related areas.
The donation of books was formally delivered to the Faculty of Education by Dr. Paula Henriques, Coordinator of the National Commission for the International Institute of Portuguese Language (IILP), within the scope of the celebrations of the World Portuguese Language Day celebrated this year (2026).
The important works were written by renowned Angolan specialists in the areas of Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology, Language Sciences and Linguistics, under the coordination of Paula Henriques, and also included a relevant book of proceedings from a Workshop on the 1990 Orthographic Agreement.
With this magnificent literary donation, the academics of UNDIL will be able to carry out comparative studies within the scope of the CPLP, strengthening cultural cooperation between Angola and Timor-Leste.
