UNDIL has a Center for Research and Advanced Training (CIFA)<\/strong>, established under Rector\u2019s Order No. 03\/Reitor-UNDIL\/IX\/2023, and a Center for Research and Community Services<\/strong> (Article 30 of the Organic Statute of UNDIL).<\/p>\n

The Center for Research and Advanced Training (CIFA)<\/strong> of UNDIL is a unit dedicated to scientific research and advanced training, with autonomy in scientific, pedagogical, and administrative management.<\/p>\n

At the national level, CIFA operates in harmony with the general strategy of the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) of Timor-Leste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the international level, CIFA implements the research policies of the University of Dili (UNDIL), taking into account that the University has signed the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA)<\/strong>, the Budapest Open Access Initiative<\/strong>, and is also a signatory and member of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scientific research and advanced training programs (master\u2019s, doctoral, and post-doctoral programs) promoted by CIFA are designed, organized, and implemented preferably with the involvement of academics and researchers from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP)<\/strong>, without prejudice to other international collaborations.<\/p>\n

The Center for Research and Advanced Training (CIFA)<\/strong> is the body specifically responsible for editing the Scientific Journal of UNDIL \u2013 University of Dili<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Pro-Rector for Research, Postgraduate Studies and Cooperation with the CPLP<\/strong>, Professor Doctor Manuel Azancot de Menezes<\/strong>, supervises and coordinates CIFA.<\/p>\n

Professor Doctor Cl\u00e1udia Vaz<\/strong> is UNDIL\u2019s Focal Point<\/strong> in the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The rules governing the structure, organization, and functioning of CIFA are defined in its own Regulations.<\/p>\n

UNDIL also has a Center for Research and Community Services<\/strong>, which operates in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 30 of the Organic Statute of UNDIL.<\/p>\n

The Center for Research and Community Services<\/strong>, headed by a Director, comprises two interconnected structures: the Research Center<\/strong> and the Community Services<\/strong> (paragraph 3 of Article 30).<\/p>\n

The Research Center<\/strong> is organized into Research Groups<\/strong> proposed by the Deans of the Faculties and approved by the Pro-Rector for Postgraduate Studies, Research, and Cooperation with the CPLP (paragraph 4 of Article 30).<\/p>\n

The Community Services<\/strong> operate through Community Intervention Projects<\/strong> and in articulation with each Faculty (paragraph 5 of Article 30).<\/p>\n

The Director of the Center for Research and Community Services<\/strong> is Doctor Dion\u00edzio G. M. Fraga, PhD<\/strong>, a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of UNDIL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
